Condolence & Memory Journal

Smoucha,

I will always love your name! Although we were only a few years apart, you always seemed more worldly, wiser and mature than me. Your infectious laugh could turn a cloudy day into a sunny day. You left us to early. You are one of a kind and I am better for having known you.

Your friend,

Ray Gee

Candle

Jim,

We are all going to miss you dearly. My heart goes out to your family. Ill never forget hanging out at my fathers house, in garland, and throwing the baseball all-day. Don't forget the jag, what fun that was. I'm going to miss you Jim.... save me a seat up there and ill bring the gloves.

Your Friend,

John Sokolowski II

THIS FRIEND OF MINE
The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away
And Lord, I guess we can see that day by day
But it doesn’t seem like there’s been much time
For me to spend with this Friend of mine.

Looking back, it doesn’t seem so long
That we were both young and strong
What one couldn’t think of, the other could
And what one wouldn’t do, the other would.

Now, we did not go to do any wrong
We did what it took to get along
It just seemed like, that in our day
There was too much work and not enough play.

There’s lots of things I’d like to say
But sometimes words get in the way
But you can touch down deep inside
I’d like your touch for this Friend of mine.

Tell him that this world we know
Is just a place to get ready to go
To Heaven’s land so fair and fine
You’ve made for folks like this Friend of mine.

Let him know you’ve paid the fare
For what it costs to get him there
He just needs the ticket to get in line
It’s important Lord, He’s a Friend of mine.

James, you will always be a Friend of Mine,
John Sokolowski
